The Garden of Ann

Gardening keeps me sane and preoccupied when I'm home. This hobby started when my colleagues and I bought some orchids on our Davao business trip. Since then, I would go 'ga-ga' over plant shops in Tagaytay. I've been into cultivating plants from seeds... got some sunflowers, tomatoes and chili peppers growing in 'coco-pots'. These are pots made from coconut husk and natural rubber... which are really amazing because I don't have to remove the plant if I plan on transferring it to the ground... I could plant it with the pot.

So.. behold....

Our grotto which dates back in the 70's...

A closer look... there are my orchids....

The seedlings sa bakod... yeah! those are the coco-pots

they're not... may shade sila dun. pero kahit na, their variety loves sunlight. hehehe.. oh well, not too much of it.

i love coco-pots. very innovative and earth-friendly. unlike putting them on plastic seedling bags or clay/plastic pots.
