Poohbear Friendship Day!!!

Today is Poohbear Friendship Day!!! It's also the birthday of my college best buddy, Glenn!!! Birthday din ni Ms. Donna (kaya may pansit ako sa tabi ng laptop)...

So what's with Poohbear Friendship Day? It's the day where Leej and I formally met during an after engagement blowout by a partner (I remember!!! si VOA). The venue is Jamie's (at The Fort). Here's a short background of the 'job' we did. His role in the engagement is the programming of the personnel evaluation/assessment of this certain company. Me, together with Clarie, Ericka, Warner, Kix and Rob (the blue-eyed boy 0_0) provided 'special' services such as collating, stapling (and unstapling), packing, sorting and reconciling of all the paperwork... sounds easy but the difficult part was the reconciliation of the actual paperwork vs the list they provided (which Clarie and I did til 4am).

Ericka, Leej and I were first to get to Jamie's.... It took 30 minutes before the rest of the gang showed up (sayang wala nun si Rob and Kix). While waiting, we got a call from VOA that we should order already (with special emphasis on the garlic chicken). Aside from the main course, we decided on ordering appetizers for ourselves. We had calamares and yes!... chicken skin. As usual, nagkahiyaan pa sa last piece... hahaha...

During dinner, all of us were laughing as we reminisced the moments inside the little conference room. They also asked me regarding the production number for the anniversary. Leej and I weren't seated together that time. He's with the partner on the other side of the table. After dessert, we just said our goodbyes -- he's on his way home and me, back to the office.

I remember in the office, Johann approached me to check out what happened in the dinner tapos sinabihan ba naman akong amoy ulam daw ako.... hehehe... (pano ba naman, napalibutan kami ng mga umoorder ng sisig sa Jamie's).

Anyway, after such dinner/event, we would say hi's and hello's when we see each other in the HR or in the corridor or stairs... and the rest is history. This Thursday, we're already 3 years and 7 months. hehehe...

It's fun to think about how everything started... that's why we put a label for this day.

Another entry: Tomorrow is the big day. I hope I won't make a fool out of myself. I'll just do my best.
