Malapit na!!!

Malapit na... isang taon nanaman ang nagdaan. Iniisip ko kung nasan ako ng mga panahong iyon. Oo, andun ako. Maayos pa ng kaunti. Maraming nangyari... maganda at panget... Pero higit sa lahat, maraming akong natutunan. Everything indeed was a humbling experience. Ako ay nagpapasalamat dahil ako ay nabigyan ng pagkakataong maisaayos ang aking buhay. Sa mga taong nagmalasakit at umintindi, maraming salamat.

Chos!!!

Yep! Ilang tulog na lang...

More pictures......

At Solana Native Restaurant : nothing beats inihaw na tilapia, liempo and talong with ensaladang pako with bagoong isda....
(slurp!) They also have a place called RGT Bulalohan... famous for their bulalong kalabaw (looks deadly!) and dinakdakan.
We were able to visit 2 churches... the one where I'm in yellow is the Our Lady of Piat and the one where I'm in black is the St. Peter's Cathedral. Of course, the Callao caves. It has 6 chambers ata but we went only to 3. It's quite difficult to pursue the next ones because it's muddy and we're only wearing rubber slippers. On the way up, we had to endure 176 steps. hehehe...
If we had the extra time, we would have gone to Aparri, where the fresh water meets salt water. The nice beaches were located at Sta. Ana. I guess there'll be a next time for that.

I'm back.....

After 23 days of work, a cancelled flight last Monday and a P1,120 excess baggage cost (20 kilos), I'm finally back in Manila. Yipee!!! I missed everyone... and everything Manila-ish.

Actually Tuguegarao isn't bad.... It's a very simple town - an Ilocano country really. Madaming bundok... Madaming palayan... Taxicles and kalesas are the means of transportation for only P8 per head. The food is cheap. I have a decent breakfast for the price of P8. My average lunch is P23 (2 viands na yun!) The best part is SALE SALE SALE!!! So most of the time, we SHOP SHOP SHOP! Famous delicacies -- the carabao milk candy, the Alcala brand (the plain milk is better than the one with peanuts) and baked peanuts (warning! it's addictive).

We were only able to visit 2 places: the Callao Caves and the historic Our Lady of Piat. Pictures? I'll try to have it here by lunchtime.

Anyway, another thing, I'll be leaving again on Oct. 1... This time, I'm headed for the South. Oh well...
