This is the latest that I've stayed in this office for work purposes. The last time -- it was 9:30PM but it's for an ECA. It's good to stay late. Working alone erases the pressure of having to think and attend to bosses' request at the same time. You see I'm working on three things...the past, present and future. What do I mean? Well, the past pertains to my previous engagement (my boss left for another unchartered territory and he left me with the unfinished report)... the present is the one I'm trying to finish before I leave for the future which is the one I'm preparing for. I'm done with the paperworks but I still have to sit down and study the whole process -- it's the first time that I'll be doing my assigned job scope.
At least I've slashed almost all of the items listed on my to do list... except for one. I guess I'll have to cram for the other procedures I have to perform for the lone item.
Tomorrow, I have an interview at 9AM. So I guess one of my colleagues would have to get the plane tickets without me. I hope I could do a lot tomorrow. *sigh*

Tuguegarao, here I come
We'll be leaving on Sunday for Tuguegarao... I'm quite scared because as I've mentioned in the comment on my previous post, we'll be riding an ATR -- which is not the usual airbus. It's smaller in capacity. I've never ridden one. It's safe naman daw.... I'll be handling security this time -- there's a catch, the person that I will be dealing with has a challenging character... I hope I'd survive this one. I guess I could pull this one off because I've been trained under such circumstance -- through my dad.
Anyway, madami pa ko gagawin bago ako makaalis... this day just went down the drain. I'm in no mood to work which shouldn't be the case because I have tons of things to finish...
Long weekend... I just spent it with my mom. We cleaned the house, washed the cars and disposed of stuff that we should have disposed a long time ago. I'm trying to cherish these moments with her because she'll be leaving for the States on December or early January of next year. Sad because I'll be left alone.
My head hurts right now, probably because I haven't eaten anything decent since this morning -- crackers, tea, butterscotch bar, piyaya from Iloilo and rice crackers... I wasn't able to buy a decent breakfast this morning as I was in a hurry to catch the 8:00 mark at the office. Fortunately, I made it.... Whewwww!
At this hour, dapat nasa dojo na ko... but since I have to do work stuff, I opted to train on Thursday na lang. I'm tired. I just want to have a decent meal at Chaikofi (pasta or a hot rice meal perhaps) and some 'bear' hugs to ease my day.

Not bad....
We didn't win... hehehe... but 4th place isn't bad. =) I just found out this afternoon that we were .06 away from the 3rd placers. Really close indeed....
Anyway, my plans didn't push through last Friday because I couldn't leave my mom with rest of the chores... Instead of spending my cash on a spa, I went to the grocery for some household needs. I treated my mom, Tita Vhie and my niece to a nice Tagaytay lunch after hearing mass.
Since my dance days are over, it's now time for me to go back to JUDO!!! Today is our sensei's birthday and we're going to celebrate it tomorrow. Yehey!!!
I only have barely 2 weeks left before my deadline and I'm off to another unchartered territory... for 3 weeks.
Til next time....

Guilty as charged!!!
Yep!!! I've been guilty of not blogging for quite some time now.... Medyo busy with a lot of things... work and other extras... hehehe...
Friday is a BIG day for a lot of things... According to my almost 'reliable sources', my mucho-mucho will be coming... and it's the big day for the presentation... The team and I worked really hard for it... no matter what happens, we already gained a lot -- friendship and bonding.
My niece arrived last night. My mom had to fetch her at Bulacan. Too bad she has fever this morning... poor gal. This means I have to set aside funds for her diaper and milk... That won't be a problem.
I do hope this thing in my mind would push through on Friday... After weeks of hardwork, I'm planning to pamper myself. Weeeee!!! Bubblebath.... body scrub.... hairspa.....wifi... yehoo!!!

A Sad Animal Story
Last Friday as I was going home via jeep, I saw a dog. It was in the middle of the road, hesitant as to where to go. Then I saw a Pajero on normal speed. I kinda hoped that the Pajero would slow down because of the dog but to my dismay, it did not. After the Pajero passed by, a horrific scenario caught my eye... The dog... lying on the road... with blood on its mouth... paws waving as if asking for help...I assume the poor dog's life didn't last long that fateful night. Shocking isn't it? I really felt sad afterwards.
The next day, as our jeep passed by the murder scene, I saw 2 dogs in the middle of the road, on the exact spot where the dog got hit-and-run. They were sniffing the spot and then I thought that maybe they're the tropa. The nice thing is our jeepney driver slowed down unlike that heartless vehicle. I was touched by the company. Maybe they're also sad that their buddy is gone.
I wouldn't take the reason that the vehicle didn't see the dog coming.... The Pajero had lights!!! and the dog didn't speed up towards it. THE DOG WAS SIMPLY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD!!! Hindi man lang siya nagdahan-dahan... Of course at this point we couldn't cry over spilled milk. In other countries (i.e. USA), the driver would pull over, bring the injured animal to the vet... or the police would arrest the driver for reckless driving. Anyway, I just hope that people would be more careful while driving... especially to the animals crossing the street.
