So sad but there's nothing I can do about it. Although it's a VERY normal thing in this company to have a VERY high turnover, this season is different mainly because the people who are going are the ones particularly close to me. I'm happy for them because they'll finally have the career (and financial) growth that they aspire. Oh well, this situation makes me wanna ask myself WHERE DO I WANT TO GO REALLY?. Or maybe I'm just pressured because people are going and I'm not. I dunno.
I'm happy with my business. I don't have the final menu yet of the products I'll be offering but I have already started selling and marketing some. What I have read in "The Entrepreneur" mag is true -- we all have so many ideas for business, what we lack is the initiative and the bravery to bring everything to a start and to keep it going. I'm very thankful for that day... while I was going to work.. *ting!!!* and then the ideas just kept pouring in. It's a good thing that I have my pocket pc to capture all my ideas. But there's one thing i have to learn... balance between business and my real day job.
Sad, happy, sad, happy... oh well...

Winning quote of the weekend : "I'm not justifying to win my case, I'm justifying to make my point."
The weekend got better... after 2 to 3 days of no see and no text. I must admit that most of the time we argue through text and take note, in english (I'm good at it..hehehe). I think he's able to communicate much better if not in person. I'm glad he's able to realize that over-reacting to petty stuff is not a good thing.
I read a post by a good friend's friend about love and commitment, "Love means you’ve committed to a choice and you need to follow through and see where it takes you." and "Love is choosing to be with someone – as one wise friend said, forsaking all others. Love is seeing someone for who they are, baggage, bad hair and all, and still being able to look them in the eye and say: “I love you”. Love is acceptance, understanding, patience, friendship, endurance...all those things that sound so boring when you’re 18 and horny but that suddenly becomes so important when you come ‘of age’." and "the true test of love lies in what happens after infatuation fades and passion settles." I totally agree. Being in a relationship is never easy. It entails a lot of hard work. You have to be strong not just for yourself but for the other party as well. A lot of times you would want to burst and shout like mad but in the end, you'll not choose to do it. Every moment especially the trying times become a learning process and also a chance to get to know the other person better.
mushy indeed.

Not a good day for me but a good day for the business. I finished the goods by 12:15am. But i stayed until 4am just to cost the product and study Microsoft Money 2006. I'm very tired when I went to the office (not to mention the traffic I had to go through just to get here). Many people found the choco chip cookie really good. I even had orders for crinkles. Thank God! Everything's ok until I uttered 3 words that were supposed to be a joke. This person got mad. But anyway, it's ok. I totally understand. Hayyy....

Reunion number 2
Reunion Number Two
Last Sunday, June 10, me and my UST tropa went to Enchanted Kingdom (it's my 3rd time). Too bad Glenn wasn't able to make due to his "family gathering". Our last meeting was in November 2006 (it's one of my posts). Thanks to Kelvin, we have transpo. I was at the LRT Recto Station as early as 9:00AM. My good friends told me to go to Katipunan (considering that I'm the one nearest sa EK). But at least I got to ride the "Megatren". It's more spacious that MRT.
We had lunch at Pancake House. We arrived at the theme park ng 2PM. I think we we're able to ride the major ones. Bumpcars (Dodgem), Roller Skates, Anchor's Away, Rialto, Ferry's Wheel, Flying Fiesta, Space Shuttle, Rio Grande Rapids, 4D. The day ended well... hoping for another adventure or maybe a little chat over coffee in the coming days..

Bohol!!! Ang saya saya!!!

BOHOL!!!!
Ang saya saya!!!! We contacted a travel agent (highly recommended) to arrange the trip and it's really nice because the tour is exclusive. I imagined that it will be like a big bus (or a van maybe) with other peeps.. but no.... we have our own car, driver and tour guide.... weeeeeee!!! We stayed at Dumaluan Beach Resort. Affordable, the facilities are ok and the beach.... woooooooowwwwwww!! fine white sand... lotsa starfish (and sea urchins from a distance)... clear waters... not as many people as in gallera... It's a good experience to see and be in places that you only see on postcards and books such as the tarsiers and chocolate hills. If given the chance, I'd like to go back there for another activity... whale and dolphin watching. yehey!!!
